LAPD Clergy Council Invites ACLC/YCLC to Present

Tuesday, September 10 @12:45 pm at Police Station

(from Minister Susan Munsell)

Bishop Grover Durham recently raised the Family Federation flag at his church and received the Marriage Blessing with his wife, Tasha, on Sun, June 23, 2024. Bishop Durham is a long time member of the LAPD Southeast Clergy Council. The primary purpose of the LAPD Clergy Councils is to advise the LAPD about the City’s faith-based ties and build relationship within the community. The current president of the council, Rev. Vernon Johnson attended the June 23rd Raise the Flag event. He was very inspired and would like ACLC to present an overview to the clergy council at their monthly meeting on Tues, Sept 10th at 12:45pm for the purpose of holding this type of event in other churches.

Bishop Robert Kinney will be giving a short presentation on the RAISE THE FLAG event and the BLESSING  and Mikuni Tamura will be introducing the Young Christian Leadership Conference /YCLC and PEACE CUP 2025. This is a great program to invite our clergy contacts to attend. All clergy from the greater Los Angeles area are invited! Their church does not have to be located in Southeast Los Angeles.

Thank you.
